For Starters

I have this vision in my mind of a wide stage, windswept and warm, a large (well maybe not large) crowd silently awaits some performance to entertain them, maybe make them smile or laugh. Then slowly the curtain rises, anticipation is at its climax. The performer is slowly revealed, the crowd holds it's breath, but nothing happens, the performer hasn't moved nor does he. Then abruptly, with unwelcomed closure as its affect, the curtain descends.
